A memoir of the fictional character Dunstan Ramsey, it follows a few different characters through their lives. The book is enjoyable and the ending is pretty tight. It's one of those books that is great, yet most people probably haven't heard of it.

This is one of the most creatively written books I've ever read. I love how JSF included pictures with the novel - such a good example of breaking the rules for the right reasons. The book is about a nine year old boy who lost his father in 9/11. It's really the first thing I've read that deals with 9/11 in an honest, true, and beautifully creative way.

A modern day "Grapes of Wrath," this book is about the loss of the American Dream. Set in the early 80s, it chronicles the downward trajectory of the main character, while he searches for happiness. I think in 40 years people will look back at this book in the same sense that we look at books like "The Grapes of Wrath" in the historical sense.

Buy new: $14.40 / Used from: $3.84 3 Stars
Really the only reason I'm giving this 3 stars is because I've practiced in one of Bruce's schools for 2 years, and this book was mostly review for me. I'm a big believer in his cause, and I'm constantly surprised that more Westerners don't know about it. Doing Chi Gung has mitigated the symptoms of a chronic illness I've had for most of my life.

Flow is basically what being happy feels like. So the more Flow experiences you have in your day, or your lifetime, will ultimately determine how satisfied and content you are. Personally, this book puts into words what I have felt already - that being goal-oriented, productive, doing what you love for work, and not wasting your life in front of the TV is the path to happiness.
