My pet peeve is that domestic ducks are still referred to "mallard hybrids or domestic mallards" when they have distinct breeds that have been around 100s of years. If youre going to take the time to include one in a book then make the effort to properly identify it. Its like calling your golden retriever a domestic wolf because all dogs descended from wolves.
