Artisan-crafted in the USA, this oval tray is formed with porcelain clay etched with a lively green leaf design and a non-toxic earthy green glaze. The glaze is designed to fill the etched designs, creating a contrasting design with a smooth surface. Once fired, the result is a sturdy work of functional art pottery with a smooth, easy-to clean, high-gloss finish. The reverse features deeply carved lines and is signed by the artist. Made by hand in New York.

Note: Porcelain is non-absorbant and is safe for the oven, microwave, refirigerator and dishwasher, but should not be used with a direct flame or on a stove-top. As with all pottery, porcelain should not be placed in a refrigerator when the surface is hot or in a stove/microwave when chilled. Always begin from room temperature or close to room temperature.
