Whether mounted indoors or outdoors, this 18-inch round analog wall clock reports the time, temperature, and humidity at a glance. This clock’s claim to fame is its precision time-keeping and the fact that it never needs to be set. A built-in antenna system receives signals from the WWVB radio transmitter in Fort Collins, Colorado, which is in turn regulated by the atomic clock. Once you install the battery and choose one of four U.S. time zones, the clock automatically sets to the accurate time in hours, minutes, and secods, and continues to adjust itself six times daily. This low-maintenance clock even automatically adjusts for daylight savings time, so you never need to remember to spring ahead or fall back. As an additional perk, the clock features in the lower left area of the face a hygrometer that measures the percentage of relative humidity in the air. The lower right has an analog thermometer that reports the temperature in both Celsius and Fahrenheit. "Outdoor" misleading
Great clock for indoor use. Can only be used outdoors, if kept warm and dry. All advertising states it's weatherproof. The owner's manual and manufacturer website state otherwise. Very disappointed as I purchased specifically for outdoor use.

not an outdoor produvt
This item, sold as an outdoor device, can't be left outdoors if temperadture falls to 41 degrees or lower because, as the manual explains, it will not work below that tempoerature. Itis not water tight, either. Perhaps okay for a covered porch in the tropics but not useless in N. America.

Why is it being sold for outdoor use?
I have returned this item.

Clock enthusiast
Nice clock. All I had to do was put a AA battery in it and in about 2 hours it set itself. It's been hanging outside for about a month now in the rain and heat with no problem. Since I live in the south, this has been quite the test for a clock. No complaints here.
