Amazon.com Review
Encourage feathered visitors with the welcoming shape of this Berkshire Lodge bird feeder from Opus. With a feeding station on each of its four sides, the feeder includes a protective overhanging top and a seed-catching tray for birds to rest on. The twist-and-lock cap pops off for simple refilling, and the single-chamber food hopper is easy to clean. Opaque windows look cleaner than clear ones and still let you see at a glance when you need to refill. Designed for sunflower and mixed seeds, this model holds a total of 2-1/4 pounds and comes assembled and ready to hang. Measuring 8 inches square at the top, the feeder stands 10-1/4 inches tall with the hanging loop. --Emily Bedard

For Small Birds Only1
It is strange that the feeder instructions urges one to use Cardinal food--sunflower seeds--when I don't believe it is large enough for a Cardinal to land on. "My" Cardinals have eaten the spillings from Chickadees but haven't ventured to try to land on such a tiny ledge. It is easy to fill and looks good. Our local squirrel has leaped upon it but slid off as it is apparently too small for it too. Even the Chickadees can barely keep their balance.; they pluck the seeds and then eat them off the ground.

Great feeder!5
I bought this feeder several weeks ago and love it! I've got mine mounted on a shepherd's hook. It's sturdy and holds a good amount of seed. There is a tendency for seed to spill from the bottom, but our ground-feeding birds clean that up so no problem there. We've had chickadees, finches, cardinals and sparrows at this feeder. The ledge is narrow, as another reviewer mentioned, but for me this was actually a good thing as it's the one feeder that the crows can't commandeer away from the smaller birds. I'm getting ready to buy a second one.

Great, when not broken3
Good looking for humans and birds. Easy to fill , except that the tray has broken twice while filling in cold weather.
