About the Author
Ron Kay is a park ranger in Zion National Park, where he facilitates visitor's programs on the history and geology of the Desert Southwest. A writer and photographer, he teaches at Dixie State College's Elderhostel program and the Zion Canyon Field Institute. Geologists, biologists, and naturalists from around the world have sought his expertise, and the Discovery Channel has featured him in their programs about the Southwest. He lives in Hurricane, UT.
